Victory Brewing Company to Open Kennett Square Brewpub

Kennett Square gets a beer bath with a few new outposts coming soon, including a new Victory brewpub.

In late June, Kennett Square Borough Council approved the amendment that allowed new ventures with brewpubs, microbreweries and wine bars in the borough. Ever since, the town has become a breeding ground for new craft beer operations, including a new location of Two Stones Pub on its way in, as well as the coming-soon Kennett Brewing Company.

But, as of last week, Kennett Square just became a bit more sudsy, with Victory Brewing Company announcing that they will unveil their second brewpub in mid-2014. The brewpub will arrive in Kennett Square as part of Kennett Realty Group’s latest upscale, four-story townhome, apartment and retail community, identified as Magnolia Place.

Based in Magnolia Place’s 8,234 square feet lower level will be the brewpub, titled Victory at Magnolia. The extensive space will accommodate a 250-seat restaurant with space for outdoor dining and will also be equipped with a five-barrel brew house that intends to keep new, site-specific brews pouring alongside Victory’s existing lineup of world-class ales and lagers.

That’s not all that is brewing for Victory. The company’s second production brewery in Parkesburg currently nears completion, expected to be operational by fall 2013.
