Vetri Foundation Hosts Cookbook Drive to Benefit Future Chefs

Foodies cleaning out their cookbook collection can help by dropping off gently used cookbooks to any Philly-based Vetri restaurant until Jan. 21.

Whether you’re looking to dive into 2013 by tackling a few good deeds or you’re already itching to jump-start your spring cleaning, Vetri Foundation for Children is asking for your help!

Award-winning chef Marc Vetri and his charitable team is pushing to build a strong, culinary library for the Culinary Arts students of Universal Audenried Charter High School. To do so, they’re running a new and gently-used cookbook drive, to help inspire the next generation of up-and-coming chefs.

To contribute, drop off your donations to any of the Philadelphia-based Vetri family of restaurants from now until Jan. 21, which includes Alla Spina, Amis, Vetri and Osteria.

Cookbook donations are also accepted by mail, at Universal Audenried Charter High School, Attn: Chef Charles Bennett, 3301 Tasker St, Philadelphia, PA 19145.

The Vetri Foundation thanks you!
