Pop-up beer gardens are all the rage in Philly throughout the summer, and now the suburbs have gotten in on the action. With plenty of outdoor space, fun food, family-friendly events, lawn games, live music and, of course, lots of beer flowing, these two new spots are sure to become as hot as the temperatures this summer.

Located at 401 Birch St. in Kennett Square in an old creamery that has been around since 1902, The Creamery features a full list of local craft beers like Sly Fox Phoenix Pale Ale and Victory Summer Love. The food menu is provided by Chef Jeremy Nolen of Philly’s Whetstone Tavern and Brauhaus Schmitz and includes small plates like marinated mushrooms, Bavarian pretzels and fried cheese curds, plus sandwiches like South Philly roast pork and a biergarten burger. It’s billed as kid-friendly and community-oriented with lawn games, live music and smoothies, too. Find out more by visiting The Creamery’s Facebook page and website.
