The Vintage Garage Sale, West Chester Parks and Recreation’s retro-inspired summer series, is back for its 2013 season, returning Friday, May 3, from 4-9 p.m. The first night market of the year will feature over 20 vintage vendors, food trucks, live jazz music and wine tastings, and will be located within Chestnut Street Parking Garage, found downtown at 14 E. Chestnut St.
A premier warm-weather activity for the borough’s monthly First Friday celebration, locals can kick off their weekends by exploring the vintage pop-up market and even snag a gourmet grab-and-go dinner from the local food trucks joining the event’s lineup. For May 3, Ka’Chi Truck will serve modernized Korean street food, while Cupcake Wars winner Dia Doce will be on hand with sweet offerings.
Rough week? In addition to shopping for unique wares, Brandywine Valley Wine Trail’s Kreutz Creek Winery adds an extra element to the monthly event—wine samples!
