Burger lovers, rejoice! Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant just kicked off its National Burger Month celebration, which means you have a full month of inventive burger combinations easily available at your fingertips. Curious what’s in store? We’re proclaiming the following seven burgers to be the hottest choices of the month.
Those looking to take a burger for an Asian spin should consider chomping into the Banh Mi Burger, which is available May 7. Dressed with pickled veggies, cucumber, sriracha mayo and cilantro, this refreshing, spice-backed bite may be one of Iron Hill’s best burger ideas yet.
Bacon fanatics, you better start saving May 10. The Bacon Lover’s Burger marries bacon three ways in burger form, with a ménage à trois of house bacon-tomato jam, two strips black pepper bacon and bacon aioli. Take note: smoked cheddar cheese also joins this indulgent pork party.
Into the idea of a burger inspired by Greece? Devour the flavor-packed Souvlaki Burger, available May 13. All the necessary, authentic ingredients are there—tomato-cucumber relish, pickled onions, arugula, feta and tzatziki—making for a bright and light burger experience.
The Black Sabbath Burger, available May 25, features big, bold flavors with its tribute to Ozzy. Crafted with blackened spices, and crowned with layers of chorizo chili, pepper jack cheese and a fried egg, this mighty, spice-laden concoction is not for the faint of heart.
For those who love to layer salads onto their sandwiches, the Yogi Bear Picnic Burger is just for you. Available May 26, the everything-on-a-bun burger loads the necessary picnicky fixings on top of a high quality patty, including a heap of potato salad, onion rings, strips of bacon, BBQ sauce and a slice of American cheese.
The Hawaii Five-O Burger, the finale of Burger Month (available May 31), takes your taste buds on a tropical vacation with its combination of grilled pineapple, shaved ham, crispy onion rings and teriyaki barbecue glaze.
