Tis' the Season for…a Sweets' Retreat?

This Chestnut Hill restaurant is treating guests to a weekend-long cooking retreat to the Poconos, starting Friday, Dec. 5.

Treat yourself to an early holiday present and join Amy Edelman, the owner and chef at Chestnut Hill’s renowned Night Kitchen Bakery, at the Poconos’ The Lodge at Woodloch for a weekend-long cooking retreat in December.

Enjoy two chances to meet with and learn from Edelman, a Culinary Institute of America graduate with more than 25 years of experience as a chef. Edelman, Woodloch’s Chef in Residence, will host a meet & greet on Friday, Dec. 5, in the Woodloch’s Garden View Room, starting at 5 p.m. On Saturday, Dec. 6, learn from the expert at a Cooking Demo in Woodloch’s state-of-the-art Chef’s Demonstration Kitchen. Chef Edelman will be showing off her “secret” Vegan Sticky Toffee Pudding recipe starting at 11 a.m.

Just 95 miles from the metro Philadelphia area, The Lodge at Woodloch is located on 150 acres in the Northeast Lake Region of the Pocono Mountains. An all-inclusive spa, Woodloch is an ideal retreat from the frenzy of the season. Learn more on the Woodloch website.
