Exton’s Waterloo Gardens is home to this year’s Sweet Charity event, a delicious fundraiser benefiting the Chester County Community Foundation, which helps individuals in the community get involved with giving through charitable funds started by individuals and families as well as businesses and nonprofit organizations. The event takes place on Tuesday, March 27 from 6-8:30 p.m. and will showcase desserts from 19 pastry chefs in the area. If you can handle all of the sugar, you can help select a winner for best dessert. Some of the participants include Carlino’s, Cupcakes Gourmet, the General Warren Inn, the Desmond Hotel, and Dixie Picnic. You can dive right into dessert if you choose, but there will also be light dinner fare served as well, along with Victory beers that will be paired with dessert.
