The Brandywine River Museum of Art is Hosting an Arctic Barbecue

The Jan. 18 event will also include a hot chocolate bar.

It may be the middle of winter, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy barbecue. Cozy up with friends and family while roasting marshmallows and making s’mores by a warm flickering campfire at the Brandywine River Museum of Art’s Arctic BBQ. The event will take place Jan. 18 from 1-3 p.m.

Heated tents will have a hot chocolate bar with all the fixings, while a seasonally-inspired barbecue-themed menu made with locally sourced ingredients will be available for purchase from the on-site Millstone Cafe.

While there, visitors can take a leisurely stroll on the bucolic Brandywine River Trail to admire the surroundings, participate in a nature scavenger hunt, or get crafty with a make-and-take winter creation.

This outdoor event is free, but does not include admission to the museum.
