The Best Clandestine Cookery 2013: Martin's Kitchen


Martin Gagné is no stranger to press. With several national awards under his belt, alongside decades of international culinary experience, he’s settled in the countryside, where he’s continuing his fine-tuned craft. On the first floor of his 300-year-old home, he hosts La Maison, a French restaurant only available for private bookings. Each feast is presented by Gagné and his wife, Janet, and focuses on themed table d’hôte menus sculpted primarily from in-season, local and organic ingredients.
