What’s better than an ice-cold beer in the summertime? These locally brewed beers will have you convinced you’re in the tropics.

Few things hit the spot in summer quite as well as a cold beer. Luckily, the Main Line region is chock-full of top-notch breweries pouring new and seasonal brews. So skip the liquor store and pick up a four-pack from one of the area’s beer hotspots instead. After that, the only thing left to do will be to sit back, relax and pop the top on a cold one.

This single IPA with passionfruit is everything you love about summer in a drink. It has the perfect amount of sour notes, thanks to the bitter passionfruit puree added to the flake wheat throughout the brewing process. This brew is 7.5% ABV with notes of candied yuzu peels, lychee gelee and sweet-tart candies.

Amorphous Cryo Pop at Locust Lane Craft Brewery
