Suburban Restaurant & Beer Garden—the latest Exton hotspot for local and sustainable meals and impressive craft brews—is showing off its wine-loving side. The restaurant is teaming up with Kutztown’s Setter Ridge Vineyard to create a four-course meal on Oct. 24, from 7-10 p.m. Suburban chef and owner Eric Yost and Setter Ridge winemaker Rich Blair are the masterminds behind the seasonal selections that highlight Pennsylvania’s bountiful harvest.
Here’s what’s on the menu:
First Course: Smoked trout, concord grape verjuice, fig mostarda and brioche paired with 2013 Gewürztraminer
Second Course: Butternut squash ravioli, prosciutto and sage tomato butter paired with 2013 Stonehedge Vineyard Chardonnay
Third Course: Three Sisters braised short rib, cauliflower au gratin, cipollini onions and Brussels sprout leaves paired with 2014 Cabernet Franc
Dessert: Flourless chocolate cake, pine nut butter and pink peppercorn crème anglaise paired with 2012 Wedding Cuvée
Each seat is $75 per person.
