Stadium Grub: Lincoln Financial Field Announces 2013’s Culinary Lineup

Forgot the soft pretzels this Eagles season. A new culinary lineup is headed to Lincoln Financial Field, bringing Philly’s best chefs in tow.

Just last week, the Philadelphia Eagles and Aramark announced that for the upcoming 2013 season, Lincoln Financial Field will host an expanded culinary lineup featuring new signature options from some of Philadelphia’s esteemed chefs.

Soon, hungry Eagles fans will be able to devour game day grub from the likes of Jose Garces, Marc Vetri and Peter McAndrews. Each heavy-hitting chef will debut options from their various Philadelphia-based restaurants, with the dishes to be available throughout the stadium within the main concourse, Headhouse Plaza and the club levels.

Teases of the new menu additions include: Chef Jose Garces presenting dishes from Distrito, like chicken tacos and carnitas with pineapple jicama slaw; Marc Vetri offering tastes from Alla Spina, like his mortadella hot dog with spicy pickles and his North Philly sausage cheesesteak served on a pretzel roll; and sandwich king Peter McAndrews hosting an expanded roster from Paesano’s, including his meatball parm with sharp provolone and his beef brisket finished with roasted tomatoes, horseradish mayo and fried egg.

Lincoln Financial Field promises that food favorites will return for the 2013 season too—including the Italian Market nachos, Tony Luke, Jr.’s roast pork sandwiches, Chickie’s & Pete’s crab fries and picnic burger (pulled pork, slaw and BBQ on a burger), and McNally’s Tavern’s Schmitter.
