Here’s one yummy reason to spring forward this weekend: getting to A Taste of the MidAtlantic an hour earlier! The annual event, which kicks off the 2015 MidAtlantic Wine and Food Festival, will be held Sunday, March 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The star-studded brunch features chefs and restaurants from four states in addition to wine, beer and spirits purveyors. All will be in attendance to showcase their best offerings and to give you a preview of the May festival. Guests can sample bites from a deliciously diverse range of restaurants, including La Fia, Montrachêt Fine Foods, Buckley’s Tavern, Piccolina Toscana, Cock ‘n Bull and more than a dozen others.
Need a dose of springtime? The event will be held in a beautiful location worthy of such top-notch cuisine: the bright, cheery atrium of the Community Education Building (1200 N. French St., Wilmington, Del.), which houses Kuumba Academy and Academia Antonia Alonso. Live music will set the perfect tone for your brunching enjoyment.
General admission tickets for the event are $75 per person and are available online. Parking is included in the ticket price.
