Keep it in the family during Restaurant Week with these Main Line family-owned restaurants you can try from February 26 through March 11.
Main Line Today Restaurant Week is happening from February 26 through March 11, and we have a diverse list of over 40 participating restaurants this year. There’s nothing quite like a family-owned restaurant serving up recipes that have been passed down for generations. Here are a handful of family-owned eateries to check out with your family and friends during Restaurant Week along the Main Line.
La Collina
La Collina was a family-owned restaurant for 40 years before being sold to a new family who’s now running the show. For Restaurant Week, the eatery offers an extensive four-course menu with plenty to choose from, like branzino, a pasta trio and other elevated Italian dishes.
37 Ashland Ave, Bala Cynwyd, (610) 668-1780
White Dog Cafe
With three locations participating in Restaurant Week, White Dog is part of the Fearless Group, which is headed up by father-daughter duo Marty and Sydney Grims. The menu varies across the different locations, so plan to check them all out from February 26 through March 11.
981 Baltimore Pke, Glen Mills, (610) 822-2100; 379 Lancaster Ave, Haverford, (610) 896-4556; 200 W Lancaster Ave, Wayne, (610) 225-3700
Santino’s Tap & Table
This Italian spot in West Chester serves treasured family recipes for lunch and dinner, like sambuca-glazed salmon and short rib and portabella ravioli. The DeMarco family runs the joint and strives to make all guests feel like they’re coming home to a meal prepared with love.
40 E Market St, West Chester, (610) 738-5491
Rosalie
Known for homey Italian soul food, Marty Grims and his daughter Sydney are offering three-course menus for lunch and dinner at Rosalie. Their gnocchi alla romana is a must-try!
139 E Lancaster Ave, Wayne, (610) 977-0600
Nana’s Kitchen & Catering
You’ll feel the love at Nana’s through the vegetarian and gluten-free dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. The family has roots in Argentina and Israel, so their Latin and Mediterranean family recipes are something special.
109 N Narberth Ave, Narberth, (610) 664-9263
Autograph Brasserie
Part of the family-owned Fearless Group, Autograph Brasserie makes guests feel right at home in Wayne. “After my wife died a year and a half ago, my son Oliver got me to visit Autograph Brasserie one night—they became my family,” says artist Justin Snow, who’s a regular at this Main Line favorite. Recently, the restaurant decorated its private dining room with portraits of customers who have become family over the years.
