Restaurant Openings: McKenzie Brew House, Diego’s Tequila Bar & More

PLUS: Jose Garces plans for the opening of three restaurants at Atlantic City’s Revel.

New in Town

Di Bruno Bros. has made an undeniable impact on the Ardmore Farmers Market since opening there last April. Now, the famed Italian specialties purveyor has expanded from five stalls to six, with lots of new additions.

It may be cold outside, but that hasn’t stopped the debut of So Fun! Frozen Yogurt in the Wayne Shopping Center. As is the trend, So Fun! is self-serve with rotating flavors.

McKenzie Brew House has a new location in the old Charlie Brown’s space off Swedesford Road in Devon. Joining the successful Malvern and Chadds Ford locations, it boasts a snappy look, complete with fireplaces and new brewing equipment.

If all goes as planned, Diego’s Cantina and Tequila Bar may be weeks old by the time you read this. Located on Media’s State Street, Diego’s features more than 40 types of tequila and a menu focused on meats cooked over a wood-burning grill.

Off the Line

The owners of the well-received eatery Cantina Feliz in Fort Washington have opened a second restaurant, Le Calaca Feliz, in Philly’s Fairmount section. And Jose Garces will make his presence known in Atlantic City this spring as he brings Amada, Distrito and Village Whiskey to the new beachfront casino, Revel.
