With all the hype surrounding the place, it’s a sure bet that getting in on a weekend is going to be difficult. But, with White Dog’s proximity to the new Beans Beauty Supply, Anthropologie and South Moon Under, lunching with the ladies should take on a whole new level of health-conscious fun.
» The boys are back in town: Rumor has it former Bianca chef Dominique Filoni may be returning to the area. Details at press time were sketchy, but his name has been linked to the space formerly occupied by Blush in Bryn Mawr. The place used to house Bianca, too—so maybe he can go home again. Pond’s Abde Dahrouch is also back on the scene, working with the Wakim brothers at Evviva (evvivarestaurant.com). Once used for private functions only, the Narberth eatery is now open to the general public, offering a menu that’s “contemporary French with Mediterranean inspiration.” And you can opt to BYO or roll with the bar menu.
