Philly Pours is bringing elite food and beverages to the impressive confines of the Navy Yard’s Fretz Sub-Zero Wolf showroom on June 14 from 5:30-8:30 p.m., all in benefit of RHD Children’s Services.
The culinary extravaganza will feature a Yards Brewing Company beer garden, varietal samplings from Vermeil Wines, as well as viniferous sips from award-winning Iatesta’s Italian Imports, plus custom-designed cocktails from Stateside Urbancraft Vodka.
Food will be provided by Drexelbrook Catering. Look for savory items like scrumptious cinnamon and vanilla salt-rubbed petit tenderloin finished with cherry and blackberry jam; delicate pastas such as Tortellini alla Carbanara and Orrechiette all’amatriciana; and oceanic offerings like pan-seared crab cakes with margarita crema.
An added-bonus to this year’s event will be special guests, Andre and Tenaya Darlington, siblings and co-authors of three authoritative books on libations: The New Cocktail Hour, TCM’s Movie Night Menus, and the upcoming Booze & Vinyl, which pairs specialty drinks with movies and music.
The event benefits RHD Children’s Services. General admission tickets are $100. VIP tickets are $150.
