Perennial Artisan Ales to Guest Star at Nectar Beer Dinner

Beer geeks are already lining up for Nectar’s upcoming beer dinner collaboration.

Savvy diners on the Main Line know that Nectar’s Asian-French consistently offers up some of the most eclectic meals in the area. Add an award-winning wine list to the equation, and one would be hard-pressed to find a more satisfying dining experience.

But, fans of craft beer take note: Nectar is hosting not one but two special beer pairing dinners in the upcoming weeks.

On Tuesday, Oct. 21, join Nectar’s star chef, Patrick Feury, and special guest, Phil Wymore of St. Louis’ acclaimed Perennial Artisan Ales, for a one-of-a-kind beer pairing dinner.

From 5 to 6 p.m., guests can enjoy a meet-and-greet with Phil Wymore, sample Anniversaria, one of Perennial’s most rare beers, and taste through Chef Feury’s hors d’oeuvres of goat cheese gougere, lamb skewer and porcini mushroom dumplings.

Following the meet-and-greet, the chefs will serve up a four-couse dinner, featuring dishes like sweet pork sausage, pork belly, pickled beets and cassis mustard alongside Aria Belgian Ale, grilled barbeque rack of lamb and celery root salad paired with Saison de Lis.

The special guests don’t stop with Wymore. Chef Feury will host local brewmaster Bill Covaleski of Victory Brewing Company on Thursday, Nov. 1.

Recently, the two chefs visited Costa Rica on a two-week-long trip to create dinners with fresh, locally-harvested, organic ingredients at five-star resort Arenas Del Mar, located along the central Pacific coast of the country. Get a taste of their journey by sampling their recreations of some of their incredible dishes served during a four-course tasting meal.

Beginning at 5 p.m., enjoy a reception featuring red snapper lychee ceviche and potato empanadas paired with Victory Gose.
