Not only am I looking forward to an upcoming dinner at the Wayne Hotel’s Paramour, but I also have brunch on my radar. The new restaurant and bar recently added Sunday brunch to its already impressive menu. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., guests can enjoy favorite breakfast offerings, along with savory lunch dishes.
Executive chef Michael Giampa is offering items like eggs Benedict with duck prosciutto, mushroom-artichoke relish, and truffle hollandaise on brioche; blue corn pancakes (pictured) with honey cream and whipped butter; lobster rolls with avocado aioli and corn relish; and grilled salmon with a warm potato-artichoke salad and lemon-caper vinaigrette.
To put an already decadent brunch over the top, there’s a build-your-own Bloody Mary bar, featuring a mix made from puréed heirloom tomatoes, plus more than 20 types of hot sauce and all of the traditional—and nontraditional—accompaniments that come to mind.
