Anyone who has an Italian grandmother knows that her recipes are like gold. And if you’re like Nick and Angela Carlino of Carlino’s Market, you understand the importance of writing those recipes down for future generations. To immortalize the stories and recipes of their grandmother, Angela “Mama” Carlino, the brother-and-sister team has co-authored Wanna Taste? Stories and Recipes From Mama Carlino’s Kitchen. And on Nov. 4, Carlino’s in Ardmore will host a book launch party, where the cookbook will be available for $45. Enjoy recipes from its pages, listen to live music, and win lots of giveaway prizes.
