Morimoto for Japan: Special Event Hosted by Philadelphia’s Morimoto Restaurant Will Bring Disaster Relief to Japan

Support the Philadelphia-Japan Disaster Relief Fund by participating in Chef Morimoto’s special cocktail hour and dinner.

No plans on June 7? Consider attending “Morimoto for Japan,” a fantastic benefit for the Philadelphia-Japan Disaster Relief Fund. Philly’s Morimoto restaurant will begin this private dining event with a cocktail hour full of champagne, hors d’oeuvres and sushi. Guests can even watch Morimoto put his Iron Chef skills to work as he slices and dices a 200-pound tuna.

Afterward, enjoy a five-course Omakase tasting menu for a sit-down dinner prepared by Morimoto and served with beverage pairings. Diners can expect dishes like toro tartare with guacamole panna cotta and hamachi pastrami, along with a lobster-and-Wagyū surf and turf. Tables are still available in both the main dining room and the private Omakase room, which includes two extra courses and a personal appearance by Morimoto.

The night will also feature a live auction of great items up for grabs, like a 10-person dinner prepared by Morimoto in your home.
