Reminiscent of the open-air cafes on Paris’s Avenue de Champs Elyseé, Media’s Dining Under the Stars returns to the borough from May 1 through Sept. 27. On Wednesdays from 5-11 p.m., visitors can shop, stroll and dine al fresco along State Street, which will be closed to cars.
This year, expect over 25 eateries, live music and more during the months-long family-friendly event. Participating restaurants include 320 Market Cafe, which has shareable plates, cheeses, pico and a great beer-on-tap selection; Ariano Italian Restaurant & Bar, serving authentic Napolatano pizzas, Azie Asian Fusion, with its inventive Asian fusion and outside-the-box sushi, Desert Rose Mediterranean, Diego’s Cantina & Tequila Bar, which specializes in street tacos, burritos and mole, and has over 60 types of tequila.
Dos Gringos Mexican Kitchen, Fellini Café Trattoria, Hildago’s Mexican BYOB, Iron Hill Brewery, La Belle Époque, Lariele Pizza BYOB, La Na Thai French Cuisine BYOB, Little Anthony’s Pizza, Lotus Farm to Table BYOB, Margaret Kuo’s Media, Nooddi Thai Chef, Quotations, Scooped Ice Cream, Shere-E-Punjab Indian Restaurant, Sligo Irish Pub, Spasso Italian Grill, Stephen’s on State, Sunset Slush Water Ice, Temaki Sushi Bar – BYOB, Tom’s Dim Sum BYOB, Yia It’s All Greek to Me BYOB, and YogurTissimo Frozen Yogurt round out the participants.
