One of the (many) things I love about Clark Gilbert’s Main Street restaurant, Gemelli on Main, is his seasonally inspired, frequently tweaked menu. For fall, his lobster-and-shrimp cannelloni features braised pork belly, butternut squash, mushrooms and lobster jus. A hearty pork chop will be served with Parmesan polenta, broccoli rabe, and a flavorful pan jus.
For an appetizer, the wild-mushroom tart with roasted hazelnuts and arugula sounds delicious, as does the beet salad with crispy goat-cheese ravioli, candied pecans and balsamic vinaigrette.
And, of course, there are two festive pumpkin cocktails to enjoy. Try the pumpkin mojito, made with house-infused pumpkin rum, or the pumpkin daiquiri, also made with house-infused rum, plus sweetened coconut milk. Visit gemellionmain.com.
Look for Beth Ceccarelli’s review of Gemelli on Main in the December 2011 issue.
