Food trucks throughout the region continue to wow us with tasty treats, and now over 50 of them will gather along Manayunk’s Main Street on April 10 from 11 a.m.–5 p.m. for a celebration of spring and food at MNYK’s annual Spring StrEAT Food Festival.
Some of the food trucks joining the festivities include Mama’s Meatballs, Pbon’s Fresh Phood, The Cow and The Curd, Sum Pig and Luscious Bakery. Gourmet food vendors will also be on the scene with homemade oils, spices and jams for purchase. There will also be farm stands with fresh fruits and vegetables. Participating vendors will be highlighting dishes with everyone’s favorite spring ingredient—strawberries.
Local businesses will be setting up shop along the streets with sidewalk sales and other promotions. There will be live music at Green Lane, Cotton Street and Shurs Lane, too. Those 21 and older can sample some of the area’s best brews at the MNYK Beer Garden on Cotton Street.
The Spring StrEAT Food Festival is the official kickoff of Manayunk’s Spring Restaurant Week, running from April 11–22. During Restaurant Week, participating restaurants will offer three courses for $15, $25 or $35 per person.
