Main & Vine California Bistro Coming to Villanova this November

Expect a menu with French, Italian, Latin, Asian and American influences.

Anticipation is in the air as Villanova prepares to welcome MAIN & VINE California Bistro to Lancaster Avenue. Renovations are underway at the former Maia and Avenue Kitchen space and are expected to be completed for a November opening.

The space will get an updated layout, including an open floor plan with a 20-plus seat bar, a separate seated counter at the open pizza kitchen and clean lines throughout. The aesthetic will be reminiscent of both Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley thanks to interior designers from the Gacek Design Group.

Those valleys will be further represented in the vast wine selection. Enjoy a glass or a fresh and flavorful garden-to-glass cocktail in the cozy lounge.

The menu will show off French, Italian, Latin, Asian and American influences, plus a variety of Napa-style sourdough pizzas. Restaurant creator and owner Jay Stevens is known for his former ventures at Morton’s the Steakhouse in King of Prussia and Dettera Restaurant and Wine Bar. He also spent time with the STARR Restaurants in Philadelphia. Stevens has paired up with Main Line native Kim Strengari of restaruant group, Conshy Girls, to get the project off the ground.
