An Evening with Dr. Kathy Reichs

Dr. Kathy Reichs, a forensic anthropologist, New York Times bestselling author and creator of hit TV show “Bones”, will speak at the Agnes Irwin School in a free lecture, which is open to the public.

Main Line Chamber of Commerce 9th Annual Gold Leaf Celebration
Sept. 28, 11 a.m., Gladwyne

Held at the Philadelphia Country Club, this event features the Helena Devereux Women in Leadership Award, which is given to a senior level executive who has significantly impacted the Main Line. This year’s recipient is Binney Wietlisbach, president of the Haverford Trust Company.

Drexelbrook’s Street Light Beer Garden
Sept. 28, 5:30-10:30 p.m., Drexel Hill

Drexel Hill’s only open-air beer garden is the perfect place to get together with friends for $5 happy hour specials, live music and tasty food.

Next to Normal at the Resident Theatre Company
Sept. 29, 7 p.m., West Chester

RTC opens its inaugural full season with this Tony Award-winning musical. Next to Normal is a deeply moving tale about a family that is, as the name suggests, anything but normal. Don’t forget to check out the opening night VIP after party.

Kennett Brewfest
Sept. 30, 12 p.m., Kennett Square

The 20th annual Kennett Brewfest features more than 100 breweries from the area and around the world. Proceeds from the craft beer fest benefit Historic Kennett Square.

VegFest
Sept. 30, 12-5 p.m., Phoenixville

This vegan food and street festival returns for the second year with live music, vendors, and of course, tons of vegan fare.

Media Food & Crafts Festival
Oct. 1, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Media

Fall Harvest and Great Pumpkin Patch
Oct. 1, 1-4 p.m., Radnor Township

This classic fall festival takes place at the Willows Park in Villanova and features hayrides, pony rides, pumpkin painting, moon bounces and live entertainment.
