West Chester-based Levante Brewing Company brings back Levante Stables as a permanent fixture on the Main Line.
The popular Levante Stables by Levante Brewing Company is back. On Feb. 14 the popular West Chester-based brewery debuted its second location, this time in Downingtown. Previously operated as a pop-up summer beer garden, Levante Stables will now be a permanent fixture.
The concept first debuted in 2017 and now resides full time in a renovated 19th Century barn and farmhouse. Expect year-round expanded seating, a brick patio and the original outside beer garden, which will be open between Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends.
“We’ve been searching for the right property to set down roots and expand upon the Levante experience, only to find that what we’d been looking for was right in front of us all along,” says Tim Floros, CEO and president of Levante Brewing Company. “We couldn’t be more excited that the property owners, township and residents believe in this vision and have invested in and supported our return.”
Beer lovers can expect all of the latest Levante beers on draught, plus the latest canned beer offerings to-go. Additionally, Levante Stables will add local Pennsylvania wines, mixed drinks, hard ciders and hard seltzer offerings.
Food service will be provided by local artisanal food trucks, with Levante expanding on-premise food offerings in the future.
A family-friendly spot, the beer garden will be up and running in late spring or early summer. Look for an adults-only section, too, for those 21 years and older.
The something-for-everyone approach is part of Levante Stables’ undeniable draw. “The property simply lends itself to once again becoming the central hub for craft beer enthusiasts and we feel strongly that the experience will delight everyone,” says manager Skylar Sullivan. “We are committed to continuously developing the property and enhancing the customer experience throughout 2020.”
We’ll raise a glass to that.
