Landmark Americana is the name of the new restaurant and bar that just opened in Wayne in the former Paddock at Devon spot. The regional chain already has locations in University City, West Chester and Glassboro, New Jersey, making this the second Main Line location. Construction on the restaurant began in February, and produced a new bar, new seating, hi-top community tables, flat screen televisions and lots of new, updated finishes and touches.
Like any good bar/restaurant, there are lots of craft beers available and a menu of more upscale pub food, with dishes like an ahi tuna salad, jambalaya, baby back ribs, pizzas, burgers, and house-made guacamole. The space is pretty big and will no doubt draw a big sports crowd. Sometime around June, realtors plan on expanding the former banquet room space to a wine bar, sushi and tapas out cove called “O-Toro.” Landmark is open seven days a week from 11-2 a.m., with happy hour Mon.-Fri. from 5-7 p.m.
