Berwyn-based La Cabra Brewing will be tapping into some of the best brews in the suburbs when it hosts the second annual Suburban Love on June 9 from 1-5 p.m.
“We have invited 10 of our brewing friends to come pour beer outside behind our brewpub. Nine breweries (including Levante Brewing, Stolen Sun Craft Brewing and Roasting Co., East Branch Brewing Company and Hidden River Brewing Company) and one cidery (Big Hill Ciderworks) are participating in highlighting the awesome beers and breweries out here in the ‘burbs,” says Scott Clay, director of media at La Cabra. “We love Philly brews and with Philly Beer Week XII winding up that week, we want to remind beer enthusiasts that the suburbs kill it when it comes to brewing beer, too.”
In addition to great sips, guests will also be able to indulge in a customized menu from executive chef TJ McHugh. Inside dining will be available, as well with the award-winning Latin-inspired menu of shareable plates, signature tacos, sandwiches and salads.
Local band, The Commission, will be performing its signature blues, funk and rock throughout the event.
Tickets are not required and the event will be rain or shine. Souvenir Suburban Love 2019 glasses can be purchased for sampling beer and cider.
