Kennett Square’s favorite beer garden, The Creamery, is back for another season of fun. The former dairy opened last year for a successful summer run, complete with local wine, craft beer, signature cocktails, charcuterie, lawn games, live music and a rotating list of food trucks. It returns on Friday, May 26, at 4 p.m. Similar to last season, they will be open Thursdays through Sundays.
A few new details will up the fun quotient this year, including:
- Refreshed gardens and landscaping, including a new children’s garden complete with fountains, garden tunnels and other fun kid-sized activities.
- Besides the rotating list of food trucks, The Creamery will have a BBQ-themed food truck on-site. Keep an eye on the website for the menu.
- Every Thursday from 5–7 p.m., local artist Robert “Bob” Jackson will be painting a mural on one of the walls of the Creamery.
On opening day, food will be provided by Creamery BBQ, Punk’d Pineapple, Natalie’s Fine Foods and Phyllodelphia Greek and Mediterranean. Kategory 5 will be playing the best of rock, blues, R&B and pop music from the 1960s, 70s and 80s.
