Jose Garces and Mrs. T’s Create Exclusive Southern-Inspired Pierogies

Head to Spruce Street Harbor Park to try these chicken-fried bites.

Spruce Street Harbor Park is back for another season of relaxing fun. Open now through October 1, Spruce Street Harbor Park features colorful hammocks, floating gardens, beautiful lights, refreshing craft beer and food from some of Philly’s most popular restaurants.

Jose Garces returns to the park this year with some new items. The Iron Chef teamed up with Pennsylvania favorite Mrs. T’s Pierogies to create Chicken-Fried Pierogies: deep-fried pierogies and pickles served with a rich buttermilk ranch dip. The Southern-inspired dish is exclusively available at Garces’ Froman’s stand at Spruce Street Harbor Park through July 14.

Even better, for every pierogi dish sold, Mrs. T’s Pierogies will donate $1 (up to $2000) to the Garces Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to ensuring that Philadelphia’s immigrant community has access to health and educational services.
