Isabella's Michael Cappon Serves Seasonal, Local Pizza

Each month brings a new pie to the table, made only with organic, local ingredients.

Chef Michael Cappon knows how to put together inspired small plates and tapas, but the Neapolitan-style pizzas at Isabella are definitely worth ordering, along with a few of his signature tapas. In addition to his regular pizza menu offerings, Cappon is introducing a new seasonal pizza each month that uses ingredients at the height of the season. Like his entreés, the chef’s pizzas are always organic and seasonal, made with organic flour and locally sourced ingredients.

You still have a few days to sample June’s pie of the month, a sweet-corn and bacon pizza made with roasted corn, applewood-smoked bacon, charred onion, piquillo peppers, basil pesto and fontina and Grana Padano cheeses. Other pizza offerings include the margherita, arugula, smoked salmon and mushroom, caramelized onion, goat cheese and prosciutto pies.
