This Manayunk bistro is a throwback to early 20th-century jazz club Americana with a bright exterior and gilded interior. Serving craft cocktails and putting a new spin on old classics, the eatery dishes up a London Fog hot toddy that brings new life to a stylish old drink with help from an Earl Grey base, crème de violette and gin. Anyone abstaining from alcohol should check out the spiced apple harvest, made with apple cider, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger ale.
Chadds Ford Tavern

This historic tavern serves up winter cocktails like the Snow Globe margarita and Scotty Snowflake under a warm and welcoming Delco atmosphere. Though it has a long list of seasonal cocktails, its hot specialty is the tavern Irish coffee. Served in a glass mug with Baileys and Jameson and topped with whipped cream and a sprig of mint, this classic libation is one of the best of its kind in the region.

Not Your Mom’s London Fog is another spin on the classic made using an Earl Grey and bourbon base with lavender, lemon, honey and clarified Cinnamon Toast Crunch milk. Yum!

The Irish and Mexican coffees are perfect for an evening pick-me-up while the Japanese tea and hot toddy are classics.
Both Towne House, a farm-to-table eatery with an extensive wine list, and the Shebeen share a monthly specialty hot cocktail. With January coming to a close, the drink of the month is a spiked hot chocolate with Baileys and toasted marshmallows. For February, the eateries will introduce a caramel apple and cinnamon hot cider.

Attached to Springfield Country Club, this upscale restaurant has outdoor firepits for those who prefer their hot cocktails beneath a full moon and fresh air. It serves four unique coffee cocktails, each bringing a twist to the traditional Irish coffee, served hot or cold upon request. First, there’s the mocha coffee, made with Negra coffee and Schmerling’s chocolate liqueur. The nutty Irish coffee spices up the traditional Baileys and Jameson mixture by adding Frangelico and cinnamon dust. The rum crème café is made with RumChata while the eponymous Tavola coffee uses Tia Maria and vanilla vodka with Baileys and nutmeg. All four drinks are topped with whipped cream.
