Join the Garces Group for an old-fashioned summer barbecue on Sat., June 7, 2–5 p.m., at their very own Luna Farm of Bucks County. Iron Chef Jose Garces and his wife, Beatriz Mirabal, will open their farm and personal home to the public for the first time—all to raise funds for the Garces Foundation.
This inaugural warm weather event will not only feature an enticing barbecue lunch, as prepared by Garces Catering, but local restaurant friends (Owowcow, Oink Johnson, Fat Jack’s, Moo and Rosati Ice) will hit the Ottsville soil too, to join in the fun-filled, family-friendly outdoor party.
As part of the experience, farm-goers will be able to tour the full property, enjoy guided hikes, rub elbows with the award-winning chef himself, watch a cooking demo, make and take seed plants, catch live entertainment by Paul Cullen, and more. Beer, wine and margaritas will also elevate the al fresco experience.
The Garces Foundation Summer Barbecue is a ticketed event, available at $60 per person; $30 for kids ages 12 and under. The mission of the Garces Foundation is to raise funds for health care, education and nutrition care for Philadelphia’s underserved immigrant community.
