Haven’t been lucky enough to hit Europe for a proper French wine education? Sofitel Philadelphia is here to help! With a quick trip into the city, you can celebrate France’s harvest over a wide range of hard-to-find French wines à la carte: Bordeaux, Bourgogne, Languedoc, Loire, Rhône and more.
French Wine Week was established as part of the launch of Sofitel’s international wine program, with the celebration running Monday, Sept. 23 to Friday, Sept. 27. The hotel-based, wine-infused festivities will range from special meet-and-greets with wine experts, to happy hours and rare wine tastings. Better yet, each night Sofitel’s Liberté Lounge will highlight a different French region by presenting a signature wine flight promotion, available at just $8-$15 in price. Additionally, acclaimed chef Jim Coleman plans to add some splashes to the French fun by presenting the week’s wine flights with local cheeses and signature bites to enhance flavors and incorporate his own Philadelphia flair.
Liberté Lounge of Sofitel Philadelphia is located at 120 S. 17th St. in Philadelphia. For more details, visit libertelounge.com.
