Fork & Bottle Comes to the Desmond

The new Malvern restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus Sunday brunch.

You’ll want to make your reservations at Fork & Bottle now, because this new addition to Malvern’s favorite luxury hotel, The Desmond, is bound to fill up fast. Having officially taken over the Hunt Room, Fork & Bottle will serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch, featuring globally inspired cuisine made by executive chef Christopher Calhoun.

Stocked with fresh ingredients from the finest farms and dairies—including beef from Allen Brothers and cheese from Shy Brothers Farm in Westport, Mass., as well as local favorites like West Chester’s La Baguette Magique—this menu is ever-changing to highlight each season’s best offerings.

For breakfast, look forward to lox and bagels, malted vanilla Belgian waffles, thick-cut brioche French toast and a variety of egg dishes. For lunch, the menu offers a range of soups and salads like blackened orange marlin on quinoa-broccoli salad, followed by sandwiches you can really sink your teeth into: a Reuben, and Allen Brothers angus burger with mimolette.

If you’re stopping by for dinner, consider the beef short rib and candy onion soup, Muscovy duck breast, or miso-honey lacquered king salmon. Sunday brunch is buffet style, complete with an omelet station and made-to-order specialties. Those seeking an after work pick-me-up can enjoy a selection of handcrafted cocktails, brews and an extensive wine list.
