A few weeks ago, we told you about chefs and brothers Terence and Patrick Feury’s collaborative beer, Fighting Feury, which they brewed at Yards Brewing Company to coincide with beer week. And as promised, we can confirm a date for the Feurys’ tasting dinner at Nectar to introduce the hoppy pale ale that’s been freshened up with kaffir lime leaves.
This Thursday, June 15, Patrick and Terence will unveil their brew with a $55-per-person tasting dinner. The multi-course meal will consist of a kona kampachi and watermelon scallion salad to start, followed by grilled, house-smoked salmon with leek fondue. For the third course, guests will be served duck ballotine with cassis mustard, pickled ramps and baby turnips. And what Patrick Feury meal would be complete without some sort of cheese component? For the last course, guests will enjoy a local, aged goat cheese and an Asian pear strudel. For reservations, call (610) 725-9000.
Can’t make it to dinner but still want to get a taste of Fighting Feury? The beer will be available by bottle later this summer. For now, it’s only available at Nectar.
