The Radnor Hotel Is Getting a Major Dining and Events Update

Fearless Restaurants is set to take over the Radnor Hotel's food and beverage operations, adding a state-of-the-art event space to the Main Line region.

While the Main Line region is rich in dining and retail options, choices for a true, state-of-the-art event center have been more limited. Fearless Restaurants hopes to change that.

Wednesday, the Main Line-based restaurant group announces its partnership with the Radnor Hotel. The ballroom and event spaces as well as all existing food and beverage options in the restaurant will be reinvented. The renovation will include exterior remodeling and over 7,000 square feet of updated banquet and event space. Advanced audio-visual amenities will be added to the interior spaces, with Barbara Balongue of Villanova’s Balongue Design overseeing the décor and design.

The hotel’s current restaurant, the Glenmorgan Bar and Grill, will become Fearless Restaurants’ newest eatery, Triple Crown Restaurant. Under the direction of Balongue, who has worked on several Fearless locations, the eatery will be an impressive feast for the eyes, though menu plans haven’t been revealed just yet.

The announcement comes on the heels of the addition of two new restaurants to the Fearless family. A fifth White Dog location is coming to Chester Springs this year, along with the transformation of the former Ruby’s Diner in Glen Mills to become Testa Rossa, a casual Italian-American spot with house-made pasta and an exciting dessert menu.

Truly a family business, the Fearless Restaurants group is led by Marty Grims and his daughter Sydney. “We are excited to transform and expand the space in the Radnor Hotel,” says the elder Grims. “It will allow Fearless Restaurants to host larger events and galas that our current Main Line locations cannot accommodate. We are also looking forward to being a part of this landmark Main Line hotel, while bringing it a fresh, modern design and an elevated culinary experience.”

The restaurant group currently operates four White Dog Cafe locations in Haverford, Wayne, Glen Mills and Philadelphia, along with Rosalie and Autograph Brasserie both in Wayne. Downtown, Philly locations include the Moshulu and Louie Louie, with shore locations Daddy O and Tuckers Tavern in Long Beach Island, New Jersey.

For the Radnor Hotel and the new Triple Crown Restaurant, renovations are set to begin in the spring. For private event inquiries and reservations, contact Jake Wade, Fearless Restaurants’ director of events, at jwade@fearlessrestaurants.com or 610-787-0381.
