Kick off the spring harvest season at the 5th annual Philly Farm & Food Fest, a huge one-day-only marketplace of local deliciousness. The event will be held on Sunday, April 10, from 11 a.m.–4 p.m. at the Philadelphia Convention Center. Proceeds benefit Fair Food, whose work supports local farms.

The Farm & Food Fest is now one of the largest single-day food festivals in the country. Attendees can expect exceptional offerings from 150 food artisans, farmers, craftsmen and restaurants, who will be sampling and selling their wares. There will also be a  Kids’ Corral with fun for the littlest foodies, plus a petting zoo with alpacas, piglets, chickens and a goat.

Cheese connoisseurs won’t want to miss the Curd Convention, where some of Philly’s cheese all-stars—the makers, mongers, chefs and creative producers of your favorite cheese—will be in attendance, for a day filled with culinary tastings, tours, contests and curds galore.

Visit the Local Libations Lounge for a chance to meet local brewers, owners and distillers and learn more about a rich and continuing history of spirits in the region (requires $10 upgraded ticket).

Philly coffee culture is second to none, and for the first time ever, many of the leaders of the Philly coffee scene will be together at the Coffee Collective, including Hub Bub Coffee, ReAnimator Coffee Roasters and La Colombe. Demonstrations include advanced home-brewing techniques and a cupping competition.

The highlight of the day will be the action in PF3 Kitchen, where attendees can watch the experts in action. Join butchers, makers, chefs and farmers in the first ever PF3 Kitchen on the main floor. Get inspired as some of the best chefs and butchers in Philadelphia share their trade secrets and best recipes for cooking with local, fresh ingredients.
