“The band’s back together, just like the old days,” says chef Lee Krasley from the new Epicurean Garage in Chester Springs. With his latest venture, Krasley has set himself apart from the former Epicurean and its New American menu. These days, he’s all about comfort food made with local farm-grown ingredients. That’s reflected in the poutine, burgers, cayenne-honey-dipped fried chicken and waffles, and his justly famous meatloaf.
Epicurean Garage also serves weekend brunch, where you can try the Garage Benedict, with Nueske’s triple-thick cut bacon. The bar offers an all-Pennsylvania beer, wine and spirits lineup. You’ll find 10 taps from local brewers, with a spotlight on Phoenixville’s Root Down Brewing Company. The patio will be open this spring.
