With so many new tantalizing eateries and chic bars popping up all over King of Prussia, you have plenty of filling choices to get you through a long day of holiday shopping. This month, the KOP culinary scene just got even bigger with the addition of not one, but two new restaurants: District Taco and MidiCi.
MidiCi officially opened its doors on Nov. 17 and has been dishing up mouthwatering Italian goodies—including housemade meatballs, fresh artisan burrata and classic Neapolitan pizzas—to hungry crowds. Guests feel welcome from the moment they enter the door and a ring of “Ciao’s!” is sung out from the staff. Dining under an olive tree only adds to the welcoming vibe. The restaurant’s signature Neapolitan dough is made from non-GMO double zero Neapolitan flour, water, sea salt and yeast for that light and soft crust. Dessert alert: There’s a Nutella calzone with fresh berries on the menu, so you’ll definitely want to save room for dessert!

District Taco opens on Nov. 27. It boasts a fresh Mexican menu that highlights simple, healthy food, served in environmentally friendly packaging. The eatery’s fast casual style started in a food truck, and has since expanded to brick-and-mortar locations. Indulge in tacos and burritos for breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus quesadillas, nachos, salads and a fun kids’ menu. Queue up early: The first 100 customers in line on opening day will receive a District Taco goodie bag. Part of the day’s proceeds will go to Turning Points for Children, a local organization that brings social and health services to people in need.
