Dining Out For Life Supports the Fight Against HIV/AIDS

The Philadelphia area’s biggest dining fundraiser event of the year, Dining Out For Life, returns on Thursday, April 20. Founded in Philadelphia in 1991, Dining Out For Life is now produced in 60 cities throughout the United States and Canada and raises over $4 million annually for HIV/AIDS services. Dining Out For Life: Philadelphia alone raised $200,000 in 2016. Participating restaurants will donate 33 percent of food sales on April 20 to Dining Out For Life and Action Wellness.

  • Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar (Glen Mills and Radnor)
  • High Street Caffe & Vudu Lounge
  • La Belle Epoque Wine Bistro
  • Lotus Farm to Table
  • Olive Branch Tapas
  • Pinocchio’s
  • Red Star Craft House
  • Side Bar & Restaurant
  • Spasso Italian Grill
  • Sterling Pig Brewery

Diners who make an additional donation of $25 or more during the event will receive a 20 percent off Tuesday card, which allows them to dine at any participating restaurant and receive 20 percent off their table’s food bill on Tuesday evenings from April 2017 to April 2018.

Dining Out For Life’s Food Truck Pop Up also returns this year. Held from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. on the 1300 block of Locust Street in Philadelphia, this year’s food trucks include Waffles & Wedges, Mama’s Meatballs, Cupcake Carnivale, the Tot Cart and more. The trucks will also donate 33 percent of sales to Action Wellness.
