White Dog will feature a special $20 trio of vichyssoise, pommes soufflé and a potato-and-shallot galette—all made with potatoes harvested from Martha’s Community Farm. Diners can order the trio at lunch, dinner and happy hour on Oct. 27 at the Haverford and Wayne locations only. All proceeds from the dish benefit the Martha’s Choice food pantry in Norristown. “We’re thrilled to be partnering with White Dog Café and the Fearless Restaurant Group for this unique food-sharing collaboration,” says Eli Wenger, director of operations at Martha’s Choice Marketplace & Community Farm. “Food insecurity is an issue that many have experienced their whole lives. Due to COVID, many more are experiencing it for the first time. Nearly all of us knows someone close to us who struggles to make ends meet and may experience hunger.”
