French fine dining meets American classics at Savona Restaurant’s Bastille Day celebration on July 14. The family-friendly event features a brunch and dinner, an all-day outdoor barbecue, and happy hour offerings, plus games and live music.
Bastille Day marks the anniversary of the storming of the Bastille during the French Revolution. To honor the occasion, Savona will offer an extensive menu of Francophile favorites. Brunch kicks off at 10 a.m. with an abundance of French pastries, artisanal breakfast meats and a chocolate fountain.

Happy hour will then begin at 2:30 p.m. and be replete with beer, wine and cocktails, alongside a selection of light fare like duck rillette, smoked brisket sliders, and short rib pommes frites.
Later in the day, look for a a three-course French dinner menu for $39, which will be served from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Classic dishes on offer include chicken fricassee, steak frites and tuna niçoise. More adventurous palettes will be tempted by escargot bourguignon. Completing the meal is a dessert selection between vanilla crème brûlée and chocolate mille-feuille.

The barbecue and happy hour will be pay-as-you-go. Both brunch and dinner require an advanced reservation. Brunch is $21 for adults and $12 for children 7-12 years old.
