There was no big official announcement of Ardmore Beer Shoppe’s opening, but that hasn’t stopped Main Liners from sniffing out the hundreds of beers now on offer at the weeks-old storefront on Greenfield Avenue. Owner Peter Vitale’s latest shop sells hundreds of craft, specialty and domestic beer plus a nice meat, cheese and Italian snack selection from Di Bruno Bros., plus crackers and drink mixers.
A bar and a few tables in the back let customers sit down and enjoy a beer with a Chicago-style hotdog with all the fixings (yes, the dogs are from Chicago) while catching the game on the flat-screen. Next time you’re near Ardmore, swing by the Beer Shoppe and take a look around. I’m sure you’ll come up with an eclectic six-pack or two to take home.
