Philly's Farm and Food Fest and A Film-Worthy Tasting Menu

Two Sundays of foodie events are anything but restful, in the best sense possible.

If you don’t have plans for Sunday, April 1, you may want to consider stopping by the Convention Center in Center City to check out the Philly Farm and Food Fest taking place from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. More than 100 area farmers, food producers and sustainable producers will be on hand to offer their expertise and samples of their goods, which will also be for sale. There will also be a number of workshops offered, fit for kids and adults alike. Visit phillyfarmfest.org for more information.

And on Sunday, April 15, Chip Roman of Conshy’s Blackfish will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Titanic disaster with a 10-course tasting menu inspired by the final meal that first-class guests were treated to on the ship. Dishes will be reinterpreted in a modern fashion, but all 10 courses will be based on the original menu. The dinner is $95 per person and seating begin at 5 p.m. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (610) 397-0888.
