Opening Soon: Kebob in Rosemont, Sangkee Noodle Bowl in Newtown Square

The Main Line’s restaurant scene is on the up, with a new outpost of Win and Sutida Somboonsong’s popular Asian restaurant and more. Get the scoop here.

The list of Main Line restaurants that I want—and need—to try keeps growing. I’m particularly excited about Sangkee Noodle Bowl, opening Aug. 12 at the old Parker’s Prime location in Newtown Square. Restaurateurs extraordinaire Win and Sutida Somboonsong are the owners, and their menu looks delicious (as usual), especially the three- and four-course lunch boxes. 4755 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, (610) 353-5353.

Also keep your eye out for a new Kebob eatery, coming to Rosemont in the former Brother’s bar location—which was JB Garrett’s before that and the Brick Bar before that. I saw a temporary sign going up the other day; let’s hope this new place has more staying power than its predecessors.
