One Tequila, Two Tequila …

Get schooled in your favorite Mexican liquor at Bryn Mawr’s Verdad Restaurant.

If you’ve wanted to learn a thing or two about tequila, here’s your chance. On April 7, Verdad Restaurant & Tequila Bar in Bryn Mawr will host Tequila University. That’s right, a “class” devoted to eating great food and trying different types of tequila.

David Suro-Piñera
, owner of Philadelphia’s Tequilas Restaurant, will lead the tasting with a three-course, tequila-paired tapas menu prepared by Verdad’s Nick Farina, all while teaching guests about the artisanal tequilas of Jalisco, Mexico. The menu will include hamachi ceviche with pineapple, coconut and jalapeño seeds; striped bass with truffle pappardelle; lamb with pumpkin hash; and ancho chocolate truffles for dessert.

$30, plus tax and gratuity. Call
