New Year’s Eve Dinner on the Main Line, Part One

It’s not too late to make dinner reservations for New Year’s Eve. Here are six restaurant options on the Main Line.

Radnor’s Susanna Foo Gourmet Kitchen will offer two dinner seatings (4-7:30 p.m. and 8:45 p.m.-1 a.m.). Enjoy a five-course meal, dancing, and a champagne toast at midnight. $75. Call (610) 688-8808.

Pepperoncini will serve an Italian feast, featuring a champagne toast and light buffet at midnight. 5-10 p.m. Call (484) 924-8429 for the Phoenixville location and (610) 941-7783 for the Conshy location.

To really step it up, opt for the New Year’s Eve package ($579 per couple) at the Wayne Hotel. It includes a five-course dinner at Paramour, plus brunch and a late checkout on the next day. If you just want to enjoy dinner, chef Michael Giampa will serve a decadent five-course meal ($125) until 11 p.m. Think foie gras crème brûlée and grilled Maine lobster. Call (610) 977-0600.

West Chester’s Avalon will serve a five-course dinner. The night also promises a champagne toast at midnight, plus live music. $70. Call (610) 436-4100.

At Avalon Pasta Bistro in Downingtown, enjoy a multicourse meal of European-style plates. $55. Call (610) 873-4200.

Guests dining at Isabella in Conshohocken can choose between an à la carte meal with complimentary champagne (seatings at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.) or an open bar with butlered hors d’oeuvres, unlimited tapas, artisan pizza, desserts, champagne, music and dancing ($65; 9 p.m. seating).
