Street food fanatics are in for a treat this week—two major food truck festivals are slated to unfold, with each event featuring over 30 kitchens-on-wheels lining up to sling their signature international eats.

After the success of multiple Night Markets in Mt. Airy, the Germantown Avenue neighborhood has decided to throw its own street fest this Thursday, Sept. 19, from 6-10 p.m. Coined Street Fare: Sip, Savor, Stroll, the nighttime market has nearly 40 food trucks signed on to participate, ranging from grub with an Asian influence (Foo Truck, Ka’Chi), to handheld Mexican options (Los Taquitos de Puebla, Mucho Bueno, Taco Mondo), to varying mini cakes (Cupcake Carnivale, Jimmie’s Cupcakes, Sweet Box Cupcakes) and ice cream (Zsa’s Gourmet Ice Cream, Weckerleys), and so much more. Live entertainment, craft and fashion vendors, and a family-fun zone will also be a part of the first-ever event. More details here.

Manayunk’s bi-annual StreEAT Food Festival returns Saturday, Sept. 21, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m., with the area’s hottest food trucks lining up along Main Street for one spectacular tasting event. From Nomad Pizza and The Cow and The Curd, to Vernalicious and Dapper Dog, be sure to come hungry and explore Philadelphia’s finest street-food culture. The fall StreEAT Food Fest also marks Manayunk’s kick-off to Restaurant Week, happening Sept. 22-Oct. 4. During Restaurant Week, over 24 restaurants will serve up three-course specials offered at $10, $20 and $30. Participating restaurants include: Jake’s and Cooper’s Wine Bar, Derek’s, The Goat’s Beard, Yanako, Han Dynasty, Lucky’s Last Chance, Bisou, and many more.
